The world’s first sun spectrum, HDR, waterproof, wireless DMX, mount-anywhere, lightweight flexible production and cinema strip light. 5-colour LED for more faithful reproduction of natural light: A CRI of 99 (Color Rendering Index) and TCLI of 98 (Television Lighting Consistency Index). Waterproof to 1m, rain and dustproof in all weather. Wireless & cabled connectivity with DMX control devices. Lightweight and flexible. Deploy anywhere. Sun Dragon is available in TWO configurations:

ATOMSND001 -> Sun Dragon 5m – White Non-diffused: 3000 lumens

ATOMSND002 -> Sun Dragon with diffuser 5m -> 30% diffused: 2000 lumens

Both models feature the same superior accuracy ratings with no micro-shadowing, ensuring consistent, high-quality lighting performance.

Lightweight yet durable, the Sun Dragon is also fully dustproof, water-resistant and waterproof to a depth of one metre. It can be powered by AC mains or V-Lock batteries.

Lights are vital to creativity as they create depth, shading and give nuance to an image. The Sun Dragon lends itself to HDR production because such precise control of colour and brightness saves so much time in post-production, with much less need to colour correct.

Sun Dragon has been designed from the outset to avoid the pitfalls of traditional LED strips, which are typically not accurate in colour and brightness due to poor LED quality. Its 5-colour LED arrangement ensures faithful colour and brightness reproduction along the entire length of the strip.

The colorimetry stats are impressive, with a TM-30 colour fidelity of 97 and a Special Similarity Index (SSI) that varies between 83 and 91, depending on the correlated colour temperature.
