It covers 470–960 MHz with a directional 60° optimal pickup angle and linear polarization to focus reception where you need it. An integrated amplifier provides –9 dB to +21 dB gain in 1 dB steps (with overload indication), while unpowered operation delivers typical 6 dBi passive gain for flexible deployment. The enclosure is IP54-rated for splash and dust resistance, suitable for location film and theatrical use.

Connection and power are straightforward via a 50 Ω BNC feed; when your receiver or antenna distributor supplies 12–16.8 V DC bias, the SF1 runs in active mode (approx. 12 V/90 mA). A clear gain display with +/– buttons simplifies on-site adjustment, and a mounting base with 3/8″-to-5/8″ threading supports common stands. Key RF performance figures include OIP3 39 dBm and max RF input 30 mW, helping maintain signal integrity in complex RF environments.

For best results, aim the antenna toward the coverage area, maintain line-of-sight, keep it ≥1 m from other antennas, and avoid nearby metal. Use the active gain only to compensate coaxial cable loss (see typical attenuation guidance) to prevent receiver overload; the red indicator alerts you to excessive input. Physical details: 376.5 × 328.8 mm, 532 g, operating –10 °C to +55 °C. Ideal for multi-receiver carts and distributed systems on corporate/commercial sets where clean, coordinated RF is critical.
