The SanDisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s UHS-I U3 V30 128GB SDXC card increases the maximum read speed over the previous 95MB/s version. This updated card was released in late 2018 and can reach up to 170MB/s read speed only in the special SanDisk card reader model SDDR-C531. When used in other card readers, the maximum read speed is only 99MB/s. SanDisk advertises the card with 90MB/s write speed.

The card features the Video Speed Class V30 rating which makes it suitable for recording for HD and 4K video where at least 30MB/s continuous write speed may be required. SanDisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s SDXC cards are available in 64, 128, 256 and 512 GB capacities. This test covers the 128GB capacity SDXC card model SDSDXXY-128G-ANCIN with UPC 619659169312. Sandisk covers the card with a lifetime warranty. The card is made in China.
