The Tilta Nucleus-M II Hand Grip (Left) is a wireless control grip for the Nucleus-M II system. Mount it on a gimbal, rig or cage and focus and iris sit under your fingers — a thumb knob with a switchable range, A/B and record buttons and an LED display. It runs on a single Sony NP-F550 battery (8–12 h), has USB-C for charging and firmware and a 3/8″-16 thread with locating points. The Zoom Module ships with the right grip WLC-T06-HG-R and can be swapped between the two.
The left grip
The left grip comes without the Zoom Module — it has the thumb knob, the range switch, an A/B button and a record button. The Zoom Module (WLC-T06-ZM) can be fitted to it, bought separately or moved over from the right grip.

Singly or as a pair
The grips work singly or as a pair — one can hold focus, the other iris. They mount to a rig with the ARRI rosette adapter (WLC-T06-ARA) or the Top Handle adapter (WLC-T06-THA), both sold separately. A grip drives the motors even without the FIZ Hand Unit.

Power
The FIZ Hand Unit and each hand grip run on a single Sony NP-F550 battery; Tilta quotes 8 to 12 hours of operation. Motors are powered from a P-Tap on a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery, or over the 7-pin cable from the unit. Hand unit and grips have USB-C for charging and firmware updates. The NP-F550 battery is not included.

Wireless link
The system transmits on 2.4 GHz with selectable channels and a dedicated interference-resistant channel; the display can be switched off (Stealth Mode). The 2.4 GHz band is licence-free in the European Union. Tilta does not publish a range figure in metres for the base system, only “up to hundreds of metres”; with the optional Range Expansion Module it quotes 1900 ft (about 580 m) and up to 4900 ft (about 1490 m) in open environments.

Three kits of the same system — how they differ
The Nucleus-M II is sold in three configurations and the names do not tell you which is which. The difference is what you control it with and how many motors you get:
- WLC-T06-HG-L and WLC-T06-HG-R — the hand grips sold singly (left and right), to add or replace.
- WLC-T06 Ultimate Kit — FIZ Hand Unit, both hand grips, Zoom Module and two motors in a waterproof hard case. The top configuration: focus can be pulled from the hand wheel or from the grips, and two motors cover focus and iris (or zoom).
- WLC-T06-K1 Hand Wheel Kit — FIZ Hand Unit with the hand wheel and one motor, no hand grips. The classic focus puller setup: unit in hand, motor on the lens.
- WLC-T06-K2 Control Handle Kit — right hand grip with the Zoom Module and one motor, no FIZ Hand Unit. Controlled straight from the gimbal or rig handle; if you want the hand wheel you have to add the FIZ unit.
- WLC-T06-MK Motor Kit — the motor on its own with rod mounts and a cable, to add another axis to any configuration.
Before you start
Do not turn the lens focus ring by hand while the system is running — the motor can be overloaded. The unit and the grips are built strictly for NP-F550 batteries (7.4 V, 71 × 38.5 × 21 mm); Tilta prohibits any other F-series battery.
