The MKE 440 Stereo/Binaural Microphone is suitable for digital cameras (D-SLR) and digital camcorders. It records sound using two directional microphone capsules placed in a V-shape (V-stereo). Unlike other camera stereo microphones, it captures the sound of the captured image without distracting side and rear noises.
A special double-layer metal mesh protects the MKE 440 from noise generated by fast camera movements. A bass filter, which suppresses low frequencies, helps eliminate wind noise. For filming in strong winds, the MZH 440 should be supplemented with a fur wind guard.
