The ring is aluminum alloy, lightweight and black.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tilta 52 mm adapter ring<\/strong> is the link between a photo lens and the Tilta Mirage matte box. The Mirage clamps onto a 95 mm diameter, the size of classic cine lenses; photo and mirrorless lenses have a smaller front thread, and that is exactly what the ring makes up for. The first-generation ring series covers 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77, 82, 85, 86 and 95 mm threads.<\/p>\n<div style=\"display:flex;flex-wrap:wrap;align-items:center;justify-content:center;gap:32px;margin:36px 0;flex-direction:row-reverse\">\n<div style=\"flex:1 1 260px\">\n<h4 style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">Between the lens and the matte box<\/h4>\n<p style=\"margin:0\">The ring screws into the 52 mm filter thread on the lens and stays there \u2014 the Mirage matte box then goes onto its 95 mm outer diameter and is secured with the clamp. Changing lenses is a matter of releasing the clamp once: every lens has its own ring and the matte box simply moves between them. It is made of aluminum alloy with a black finish, is light and puts no load on the matte box at the lens.
