Samyang MF 14 mm f/2,8 RF is a manually focused ultra wide angle lens with Canon RF mount. Very useful for landscape, astro and travel photography.
The lens is solidly built with a metal barrel and is also weather sealed to prevent dust and moisture from reaching the inside. Other features are a wide and smooth focus ring and a rear holder for thin gelatin filters.
The advanced optical design consists of 14 elements divided into 10 groups, including 3 elements of High Refractive (HR) glass and 2 aspheric elements to ensure high sharpness and resolution throughout the image. 2 elements are made of glass with extra low dispersion (ED) to reduce the occurrence of chromatic aberration.
A fixed lens hood and Samyang’s multi-layer coating UMC counteracts reflexes and stray light and ensures that the images always get maximum contrast.
NOTE: The lens does not have electrical contacts or a CPU so the aperture is controlled by a traditional, mechanical ring with full stop markings.
