The Hollyland Pyro 5 4K combines a bright on-camera monitor with a flexible wireless video transmitter and receiver in one compact unit. It is designed for productions where the camera operator, director, focus puller or client all need a reliable live image—without adding separate monitor and transmission hardware.

The upgraded Pyro 5 4K supports wireless video transmission up to 4K30 via HDMI, while SDI supports up to 1080p60. Its 5.5″ Full HD touchscreen delivers 1500 nits brightness for confident outdoor monitoring, and the unit can be switched between transmitter and receiver mode as needed.

With a line-of-sight range of up to 400 m and latency as low as 60 ms, Pyro 5 4K is a practical solution for shoots ranging from compact single-camera setups to larger multi-monitor productions. Hollyland’s dual-band 2.4/5 GHz transmission, automatic frequency hopping and smart channel scan help maintain a stable signal in busy RF environments.

The monitor is part of the Pyro ecosystem and can work with other Pyro devices. In Direct Mode, one transmitter can send to up to two receivers and two mobile devices. Broadcast Mode supports up to four receivers. Lock Pairing keeps each receiver connected to its intended transmitter when several Pyro systems are used on the same set.

Pyro 5 4K also adds camera control for selected Sony, Canon and Nikon cameras, allowing key settings such as ISO, aperture, shutter speed and white balance to be adjusted from the touchscreen with a compatible control cable. Image Overlay makes it easier to match composition between takes, while built-in monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, focus assist, false colour and custom LUT support provide the tools needed for accurate on-set monitoring.

Record proxy footage directly to an SD card or USB drive, stream via RTMP to compatible live platforms, or use the customizable function buttons for quick access to the tools you use most.
