The Tilta TA-3PM-BJ is a ball joint with a GoPro-standard 3-prong mount for the Tilta Mini Articulating Arm. The 2-prong foot of an action camera or GoPro accessory slots between the prongs and the thumb screw locks it in place — no tools. In the arm, the joint swaps with the original one in seconds. The body is aluminium alloy and stainless steel, in black.
The Tilta TA-3PM-BJ gives the Mini Articulating Arm a GoPro mount: an action camera, or anything with a 2-prong GoPro foot, gets onto the cage, the rods or a handle exactly where it is needed.
3-prong GoPro mount with a thumb screw
The mount is a GoPro-standard 3-prong mount: the 2-prong foot of an action camera, frame or GoPro adapter slides between the prongs, the thumb screw passes through and locks it in place. The screw is tightened by hand and has a hex socket for a key when more force is needed. Tilt is set by loosening the screw; direction and height are handled by the articulating arm — so the camera points anywhere with no further adapter.
Swapped in the arm without tools
The Tilta Mini Articulating Arm has a clamp at each end that grips the ball. Release the clamp, the original joint comes out, this one goes in and the clamp locks it again — it takes a few seconds and the arm is ready for a different kind of mount. The other end can keep the original 1/4″-20 joint, or take another mount from the series: ARRI rosette, cold shoe, NATO clamp, 15/19 mm rod clamp or SmallHD.
Tilta ball joints
The Tilta Mini Articulating Arm has swappable ball joints at both ends: pull one out, push another in and lock it, no tools. Ends come for ARRI rosette, cold shoe, NATO rail, 15/19 mm rods, GoPro and SmallHD, plus an extended ball joint arm for more reach. The parts combine freely — a monitor, light or transmitter lands exactly where the rig has room; this joint is one of them.
