The Tilta WLC-T06-7P-50 is the 50 cm 7-pin to 7-pin connection cable for the Nucleus-M II system. It daisy-chains two motors — power and data run from the first motor to the second over a single cable, so only the first motor needs a power feed. The same cable also connects a motor directly to a hand grip. It fits Nucleus-M II and first-generation Nucleus-M motors and hand grips. The 30 cm length is SKU WLC-T06-7P-30.
The 7-pin to 7-pin connection cable (50 cm) is the link between two Nucleus-M II motors on one rig. One motor is powered by a P-Tap to 7-pin or 3-pin to 7-pin cable, and this cable then carries power and data on to the second motor — with no second power source and no extra run along the rods.
Daisy-chaining motors
The Nucleus-M II motor has two 7-pin ports that pass power in and out. The 7-pin to 7-pin cable links two motors in series: the first is powered from P-Tap (cable WLC-T06-P7P-70) or 3-pin, the second takes power and data from the first. The cable also works between a hand grip and a motor — the grip then powers the motor from its NP-F550 battery, but at a lower voltage, so with less torque and shorter battery life. The 50 cm length suits motors farther apart, such as focus and zoom on a long lens.
The Tilta Nucleus-M II system
Nucleus-M II is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or the hand grip with wheel drive them remotely, and power and data run over 7-pin cables. The parts of the WLC-T06 series combine — motor gears, cables, brackets, grip modules and the case all belong to the same system, including this one.
