The University of Tartu needed to isolate the press and video room of its main building from the sound and light coming from the windows, as well as improve the room’s acoustics. The Cyclorama curtain rail system is in use, which allows the curtain to be easily moved and fixed at a height of 4.2 m. The curtain fabric is 100% cotton velour, 400g/m2 textile nicely conforms to the acoustics of the room, there is a tin cord in the bottom hem to straighten the curtain. Curtain is sowed to a fifty percent pleat. The curtain is fire-resistant and complies with DIN 4102 B1, M1, EN 13501-1 and NFPA 701 standards.
