Additionally, the PR-2 is remote-controlled via the Sidus AudioTM app, which allows for every setting to be adjusted from up to 250ft away. This feature is especially useful if you need to make changes to your recording setup quickly from a long distance.
The Deity PR-2 Pocket Recorder also features Deity’s signature triple-tap locking method to prevent accidental stopping of recording when in someone’s pocket.
The headphone output allows for monitoring and checking the lavalier sound quality before recording, but also can output timecode, turning the PR-2 into a timecode box. This allows you to jam a camera, unplug, plug in your lavalier, and record an interview quickly, all in sync. The device runs on 2 AA batteries for nearly 30hrs of battery life.
