The kit includes Practilite 802 LED panel, a 4-way barndoor set, full and half diffusers and a multi-voltage power adapter for worldwide use. A hard shipping Nanuk 930 case in graphite color is included for protection when traveling or storage.

The well-crafted, all-aluminum 30 x 15 x 6 cm panel employs 200 LEDs to output the equivalent of an 800Wtungsten fixture while consuming just 90W of power. The Practilite 802 has a medium, 30° beam spread that’s ideal for selective lighting or wide scenes, but it also comes with half and full diffusers for situations where wider coverage is needed.

Tune color balance or brightness
From tungsten to daylight and any lighting situation in between, you just dial in the matching color balance and tune the brightness manually or from your smartphone. Sophisticated software ensures that power output is linear regardless of color temperature, while the CRI rating also remains consistent at 97, an indication of accuracy in color rendition. Light intensity is variable from 5% to 100% and can be adjusted locally on the fixture or remotely via DMX.

Flicker-free, compact and durable
The Practilite 802 is flicker-free, which allows for perfectly lit slow-motion shots. The lights can also be DMX daisy-chained for use in a cluster. Another means of control is the Bluetooth Practilite App for tablets and smartphones that features a simple, intuitive graphic user interface (GUI) that permits brightness and color control of up to six fixtures (including Practilite Fresnels) at distances up to 30′. A further indication of versatility is the panel’s power options. The light can run on AC worldwide with the included 100 to 240 VAC adapter or on batteries with the purchase of an optional V-Lock or G-Mount for situations where the mains power is unavailable.
