The Tilta R15-200-B is a 200 mm long aluminium 15 mm rod, black anodised. It fits baseplates and rod holders of the 15 mm LWS standard (60 mm spacing) as well as 15 mm studio plates, and carries a follow focus, matte box, lens support or motor mount. The ends are internally threaded, so the R15-C connection screw extends it with another rod. The price is for one rod.
The Tilta R15-200-B is a replacement or additional rod for the rig: whoever needs more reach for the matte box, a second rod next to the one from the cage, or a replacement for a bent one, picks exactly the length and colour that belongs in the build.
200 mm of aluminium, black
The rod is 15 mm in diameter, 200 mm long and made of anodised aluminium, black anodised, matching Tilta cages and plates in the same colour. Aluminium keeps the weight down — on a handheld camera or a gimbal every gram counts — and for a follow focus, matte box or lens support the stiffness is sufficient. The ends carry an internal thread for the R15-C connection screw: two rods screw together into one longer rod when the build grows.
Tilta 15 and 19 mm rods
Rods are the backbone of a rig: 15 mm rods (LWS standard, 60 mm spacing) carry baseplates, follow focus, matte box, lens supports and motor mounts; 19 mm stainless rods (studio standard, 104 mm spacing) take heavy builds with large lenses. Tilta makes 15 mm rods in aluminium, black or silver, 100–300 mm long, and 19 mm rods in stainless steel, 200–600 mm; rods with threaded ends join end to end with a connection screw.
