The basis of this kit from Tilta is a full camera cage, which is designed to provide additional protection for the Canon C50 camera body and allow users to expand with various video-focused accessories.
Three contact points create a solid connection and help maintain cage stability during demanding and dynamic shooting, while the modular design allows the unit to be easily broken down into a half cage for smaller and lighter setups.
The bottom Arca plate allows for multiple configurations and quick transitions between support systems such as tripods and gimbals.
3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20threads on the side arms facilitate vertical shooting, while positioning points help keep accessories in the correct position and prevent them from rotating, even when using a single ¼”-20 thread.
Separate cable clamps for USB-C and HDMI can be tightened by hand and significantly improve cable connection security.
The removable top plate supports the original XLR top handle, while the included top handle extension adds a Cold Shoe mount and NATO rail.
The kit also includes a Xeno side handle that has a 1/4″-20 thread and is compatible with both sides of the cover.
